Check her height first. Measure your 7-year-old in the shoes she will wear (Disney measures with shoes on). She likely clears everything up to 44 inches but may be short for the two 48-inch coasters: Tron and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. Your 9-year-old is almost certainly clear for all of it.

2026 heads-up, what changed ▸
  • Big Thunder Mountain reopened May 3 with a new Rainbow Caverns scene, and its height dropped to 38 inches, so the girls can ride it now.
  • Rock 'n' Roller Coaster reopened May 26 with a brand-new Muppets theme. The Aerosmith version is gone.
  • Test Track is back and is currently the longest wait at Epcot, so your VIP access is worth the most there.
  • DinoLand and DINOSAUR closed for good in February. Do not plan around them.
  • Carousel of Progress closes July 6 until 2027, so this trip is a last chance at the original.
  • Soarin' has a new film as of May 26, and Frozen Ever After has new animatronics.
